How to play this guess the country game
Like a geography wordle, everyone gets the same daily answer. Start with an illustrative flight estimate, then reveal any checked tax, VAT and temperature clues before the continent and flag. You have six guesses and up to six clues.
Choose any of the 77 countries and territories in the list. Distance and direction run from your guessed city to the answer's city. The flag's country label appears when the game ends. The full source names and city names appear then too.
The flight clue is a distance estimate, not a measured journey time. Read the calculation below.
Flight estimates use the great-circle distance from London Heathrow divided by 800 km/h, plus 30 minutes, rounded to 15 minutes. They allow no stopover time and do not promise a direct flight. Puzzle #1 starts on .
