What can journalists use?
- Leavers tracker
- Dated, sourced reports about people and companies. Status labels distinguish reported moves, plans, returns and corrections. It is not a count of all emigrants. Read the tracker inclusion and source rules.
- Departures board
- Official departure figures with their periods, source links, publication dates and limits. Use each measure's definition when reporting it.
- Social contract data
- Official measures of taxes, household benefits, work, public finances and ageing. The social contract sources and method explain populations, estimates and calculations.
How should I cite the data?
For official figures, name the original publisher, measure and period as shown on the board or social contract panel. Link to that source and the Flight Risk Capital page. Check the reuse policy and original source rights.
Which data can I download?
- Who pays Income Tax CSV
- Household net contributors CSV
- Work and health CSV
- Public balance sheet CSV
- Ageing and spending CSV
- Higher-earner tax CSV
CSV means comma-separated values, a format that opens in a spreadsheet. The social contract files retain source URLs, release dates, definitions and calculation notes. There is no tracker CSV download.
How can I ask a question or report an error?
